One goal of our district focus on instructional excellence has been to define our beliefs about what instructional excellence is. To accomplish this, we had representatives from each school contribute to a committee tasked to create a Shared Vision of Excellence in Teaching. Our Shared Vision serves to set the framework and definition of how we define teaching and instructional excellence and is to be used in a reflective context (non-evaluative). This vision forms the beliefs about whole child education as defined in our Inspiring Hearts and Minds.
