Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration for the 2024/25 school year is now open!
Kindergarten registration is an important milestone in a child's educational journey, marking their formal entry into school! In Alberta, children eligible for kindergarten for the 2024/25 school year must turn five years old by Dec. 31 of the school year they will begin. This means children born between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2019, can register.
Students who are six years old by Sept. 1 will be admitted to Grade 1.
Kindergarten registration for the 2023/24 school year remains ongoing!
All registration must be completed online. For assistance please reference our School Registration Guide. Before you begin, please ensure you have the required documentation on hand.
Are You New to CRPS?
For families that are new to CRPS, create a new SchoolEngage account to register your child for school. If your family is returning to CRPS, sign in to School Engage. If you cannot remember your password, you can click on "Forgot Password".
Are You Already a Part of Our CRPS Community?
For existing CRPS families, please proceed by registering a new member of your family for school through your PowerSchool Parent Portal.
Settlement Services
Settlement Services support Permanent Residents, Live-in Caregivers, Refugees and Temporary Foreign Workers transitioning to permanent status who are living in the Bow Valley – Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise and Kananaskis – no matter the length of time living in Canada.
