Banff Elementary School
Rolling into June with Banff’s Bike Bus
Banff Elementary School kicks off a fresh tradition on June 4 with the launch of the Banff Bike Bus - a group ride to school supported by volunteers and parents. This fun, active commute promotes connection, eco-friendly habits, and a positive start to the school day. Students join the Bike Bus from designated stops along a planned route, arriving at BES before 8:30 a.m. Registered participants receive safety information, pick-up times, and a route map ahead of the ride. After arriving, families are encouraged to linger a little longer with “Take 5” on the Elk Field, hosted by Right from the Start. From 8:15 to 8:45 a.m., parents and kids can take a few extra minutes to connect over free coffee, tea, and light snacks before starting the day. This new event is made possible through a partnership between the Town of Banff, Community Cruisers, and Canadian Rockies Public Schools. Contact Jason Billings for more information.

This free community event brings together generations in a celebration of creativity, connection and performance. The collaboration between young musicians and local literary talent is a testament to the ways art can bridge age and experience. Families, friends and community members are warmly encouraged to attend, support student performers, and cheer on Banff’s vibrant senior artists. With music in the air and community at the heart, this promises to be an evening worth ringing in. Contact Jason Billings for more information.
