The Brief - March 18, 2024

On March 18, 2024, the Canadian Rockies Public Schools (CRPS) Board of Trustees set forth three advocacy priorities—Transformational Learning Opportunities, Continuity of Learning, and Strategic Mental Health Investments—these priorities underscore the board's dedication to enriching learning experiences, advocating for fiscal strategies to overcome regional economic challenges, while securing the best outcomes for all students in their charge. Additionally, CRPS announced it has embarked on developing a 2025-2029 Four Year Education Plan, engaging stakeholders in a dialogue to reflect the community's educational aspirations. Commendations, too, were given for the academic strides of Canmore Collegiate High School's Indigenous students, with notable acceptances to universities and research programs. Further bolstering student supports, CRPS received a $49,777 boost to enhance nutrition programs. Read the March 18 edition of “The Brief” to learn more.
